Dr. Travis Goodnight is a general surgeon offering a broad range of general surgical procedures for the River Valley of Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.  Dr. Goodnight is known for his professionalism, compassion, and dedication to his patients.    Dr. Goodnight understands that undergoing a procedure can be stressful and does his best to make sure you feel comfortable and confident about having surgery. Education and Background Dr. Goodnight received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma.  He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he earned his medical degree.  Following formal education, Dr. Goodnight completed a general surgery residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita.  During his final year of residency, Dr. Goodnight was asked to be the Administrative Chief Surgical Resident.  At the completion of his residency, he received the honor of “Most Outstanding Chief Surgical Resident” voted on by his faculty.  He then completed his board certification, is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and has been inducted as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Goodnight is married with two children.  During his free time, he enjoys golf, fishing, and tending to his cows.
